ENTRIES OPEN FOR IRISH COUNTY AND PROVINICAL TEAMS
Entries for the 2025 70th edition of Rás Tailteann are now open for Irish county and provincial teams ONLY.
They will remain open from 2PM on Monday, March 10th until 5PM on Monday, March 24th. Please enter as early as possible to allow for any issues/queries that may arise.
The guide to entering is as follows:
Step 1
- Managers enter the team at the following link:
Team Entry
Manager selects ticket quantity as '1' and then 'proceed'
Manager enters their first name, last name, email address, DOB, mobile number and UCI ID (UCI ID can be obtained from your licence or Cycling Ireland’s membership platform).
Manager enters Team Name - this is the name of the team for the event - it doesn't need to match the club or team listed on manager licence (if applicable).
Waivers and contact preferences to be chosen and 'add to cart'.
Payment must be made at this stage. Entry fee is €700 plus fee of €38.50.
Step 2
- Managers enter rider details at the following link:
Rider Details
Manager selects ticket quantity as '5' and ‘proceed’
Rider’s first name, last name, licence number and DOB should be entered and 'proceed'.
Managers should enter their own email address (the same used above when entering and paying for the team in step one not the individual riders email addresses).
Team Name to be entered - this is the name of the team for the event - it doesn't need to match the club or team listed on the rider’s licence (if applicable) but needs to match the team name from step one.
The same emergency contact details should be entered for all riders - this is the person that the race will contact for the entire team if any emergencies occur (should be contactable throughout all of the event). The teams themselves should obtain individual emergency contact details from the riders.

Important points/FAQ’s
If a team does not have five riders at this point, a lower selection of ticket number should be chosen in step two and those riders entered. The remaining details can be entered when available. For example, enter three riders today and another two riders at the weekend, etc.
If a team has more than five riders and have not chosen who will be representing that team in the event, please enter any five rider’s details. These details will not be shared with anyone so will be no indication of who is being picked.
Amendments/edits to riders etc will be allowable and the race will be in touch with managers separately on this point. PLEASE DO NOT EDIT ANY RIDERS UNTIL WE ARE IN TOUCH.
Please note information listed in the event description related to the steps to obtain a Cycling Ireland licence number for non-Cycling Ireland licence holders.
Maximum of one non-Cycling Ireland licence holder allowable per county/provincial team.
Rás Tailteann is not open to C3 riders.
