Hucare Factory Team (Germany) Announced For Rás Tailteann 2026

Cairde Rás Tailteann is delighted to announce one of our visiting teams for the 2026 event: Hucare Factory Team from Germany.

Racing under a new name for 2026, the team returns to Rás Tailteann after making its debut in the race last year and will be aiming to build on that experience with a strong performance on Irish roads.

Cairde Rás Tailteann is delighted to announce one of our visiting teams for the 2026 event: APS Pro Cycling from the USA, who make their debut in this year’s race.

Ahead of the race, the team is coming off a strong block of racing in the USA, including the Redlands Cycling Classic and the Tour of the Gila. While this will be the team’s first appearance at Rás Tailteann, APS Pro Cycling is expected to arrive with a number of experienced riders looking to make their mark on the race. More>>>

The 71st edition of Rás Tailteann will take place from May 20th to May 24th, 2026.

The event will start in Portlaoise, Co Laois on Wednesday, May 20th, heading south-west to finish in the historic Limerick heritage town of Kilmallock. Stage two will see a transfer to Rathmore, Co Kerry, where a long and demanding day awaits, taking in Kenmare, West Cork, the famed Tunnel Road / Caha Pass, Glengarriff and Gougane Gap before finishing in the Rás stronghold of Banteer, Co Cork.
