Cairde Rás Tailteann is delighted to announce Cycling Club Isle of Man as one of our visiting teams for the 2026 event as they return for their fifth consecutive appearance in the race.
Cycling Club Isle of Man has built up a strong connection with Rás Tailteann in recent years and continues to be a familiar and well-respected presence in the event.
With roads and racing conditions on the Isle of Man offering strong preparation for Irish racing, the team has consistently shown that it can be competitive on this terrain.
Team Manager, Conor Davies, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to the Rás Tailteann this season for Cycling Club Isle of Man’s fifth consecutive appearance. It’s a prestigious race that has supported us over the last several years so it means a lot for us to come back and crown more Men of the Rás. What makes this year’s edition even more special is that we’ll return as defending champions. We’ll never forget George Kimber’s fabulous claim to Cycling Club Isle of Man’s biggest-ever victory. We will bring a strong crop of riders ready to give it their all. Thank you again to the organisers for creating a balanced, yet demanding, route that will give our riders a challenging but rewarding race.”
Welcoming Cycling Club Isle of Man back to the event, Race Director Ger Campbell said: “We are delighted to welcome Cycling Club Isle of Man back to Rás Tailteann once again in 2026. They have become a valued part of the race over the last number of years and their performances have shown the strength and consistency they bring to the event. We look forward to seeing how they perform on Irish roads once again.”
