Foran CT London (UK) Return To Rás Tailteann 2026

Cairde Rás Tailteann is delighted to announce Foran Cycling Team as one of our visiting teams for the 2026 event as they return for their fifth consecutive appearance at the race.
Based in London but with strong Irish connections, Foran Cycling Team has made Rás Tailteann a key target in recent seasons and returns once again with high ambitions. The team enjoyed a standout year in 2024 when they claimed overall victory at Rás Tailteann and arrive into this year’s race in excellent form.
Their 2026 campaign has already seen significant success, most notably taking overall victory at Rás Mumhan earlier this season.
With a strong and well-balanced squad expected to line out in May, Foran Cycling Team will be aiming to build on their past success and play a major role across the week as the race travels the length of the country.
Team Manager Tom Quaid said: “Rás Tailteann is a race we always look forward to and it has become a real favourite for the team. Being back for our fifth year makes it extra special, particularly with the race passing close to members of the extended Foran family. The lads have started the season very strongly and winning Rás Mumhan was a big goal for us. We are looking forward to May now and taking on the race with a strong group who are proud to represent the team on Irish roads.”
Race Director Ger Campbell added: “Foran Cycling Team has established itself as one of the strongest visiting teams in recent editions of Rás Tailteann. Winning the race in 2024 and following that up with victory at Rás Mumhan this year shows the level they are operating at. They will certainly be among the teams to watch this May.”
