Martin Moore Armagh Competed In An Rás in 1972 and was in the winning break coming into the Phoenix Park for the finish. Seen Here On His Wedding Day to Anne In I977.

Tragic Footnote.
The Rás suffered its second tragedy when cyclist No 46 Noel McGill crashed on a slippery bridge near Ballintra about 15 miles from the finsh in Donegal. Noel later died of his head injuries in hospital.
